Happy Mother’s Day! This is my second mother’s day and I look forward to spending it with my NOW toddler and Husband. Time really has flown by and I really appreciate my journey as a mother. It has come with it’s ups and downs but I’m so grateful for the support of my friends and family. Some days you may question if you’re doing a good job, and I’m here to tell you that you are! There is no medal for if you only breastfed, if you only fed organic, or if you limited screen time to just an hour a day. We are all out here showing up and doing our very best every day. Here are some affirmations to encourage you when you feel discouraged:

I am enough for myself and my family.

I am an amazing mother.

I deserve rest and luxury.

I will ask for help from my village, it doesn’t make me weak.

Even when I make MISTAKES, I’m worthy of love.

I’m not a perfect mom and that’s ok.

I will enjoy the moment and stay present even if I have a long to-do list.

Today I embrace all that I am.

I will not compare myself or my children to other families.

I’m raising an amazing human being.
